I have watched countless hours of interviews with her where she has contradicted herself, revealed hypocrisies, and stood her ground on issues I do not agree with morally. However, I have chalked that mostly to youth, and being misguided. But, Gaga has to realize, she has crossed over into a different realm now. Surely her Elle speech indicates she recognizes the stature she has been empowered with. She should re-visit some of her own statements and perhaps publicly amend her views on areas that belie her. Any examples of how she has contradicted herself? I believe you but I’d like to see it for myself ✨oh the lights dim while we’re dancing yeah the floor is shaking in this disco heaven✨
Gagally 775
Excellent question. I have not documented it and would have to go back and re-watch all the hours of video. I realize that seems weak, and for that I am sorry. I just know that while watching interviews, bells in my head would go off that it sounded different from what I had heard her say elsewhere. I am not a reporter and I do not say that in a defensive way, but as the proper context for my comments. I think your question is fair and I do promise I will do the research and report back specific instances- when I can get to it. Meanwhile I will withdraw my characterization of hypocrisies and contradictions. Since you quoted me, my post stands. I did not mean it as an indictment, but a statement of my own questioning of my values and loyalties. Watch As I Dive In

Agree, I think she has "grown up" a lot and matured over the years. She should aknowledge it sometimes more often, yes.

But she might or might not changed her view on this since 2013, who knows. Still, the judges thought he was/is innocent, it seems: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R._Kelly#Sex_scandals_and_allegations
stormer 5
They're both nauseating. Coming from survivor's perspective myself, my feeling is that it's embarrassingly easy to be taken in by guys who prey on people who've been preyed upon, if you know what I mean. I'm biased here, as it's happened to me too many times to really get into, and I certainly don't want to play a game of Who Hurt Gaga because that's nauseating too. But I can relate to having my perspective so messed up from being raped that you gravitate towards people you ordinarily wouldn't.

Actually, I really do not pay attention to any other artists than Gaga. So I hold her in a much much higher regard. Watch As I Dive In
GhettoFabulous 18,501
R-Kelly got a video pissing on a 15 year old 1.Multiple(not one OR TWO) young girls have exposed him for putting them in some messy sex cult 2. The Aliyah thing as for terry richardson just google the man and you’ll see pics of his **** and ****( not saying that’s the reason I’ve made my judgement but by judging by the way he does things it doesn’t make the allegations far fetched)

Lots of Little Monsters like to pretend that Gaga didn’t know and that when she found out about the allegations she pulled the plug on DWUW but that’s honestly bs. Gaga knew about R Kelly just like a lot of people her age. It was a bit of a scandal at the time when the video surfaced. Also, let’s stop pretending that R Kelly wasn’t on the track because of his history of allegations + the opportunity to make a scandalous music video that would draw all sorts of attention. She pulled the plug on DWUW because she realized she wasn’t untouchable anymore and the song + video were going to finish ruining her image. At least Gaga learned from her mistake though.
