I honestly don't get the hype for Gangnam though. It's just another basic dance song that you would all be hating on however I guess you guys arent only because it's K-Pop

Just A Holy Fool

Reviews weren't good. Girl has brains and talent, but her shtick has gotten dull.

This recent album is a bit of a disappointment, but I would say reviews are more mixed than `not good`. You shouldn't make a statement based off of that one review. It is rated at 56/100 on Metacritic with 6 positive, 7 mixed and 3 negative. There are some amazing songs, and some awful songs, not really a cohesive piece.

Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie was her creative peak, and she came close to matching it with her previous album, Flavors of Entanglement (for me anyway). JLP is a masterpiece and a snapshot in time, but its getting old how the mainstream always holds her up to that impossible pedastal. Adele will have the same problem unfortunately.

And she is with an independent label now, so not as much promo.

She debuted #1 on the Global Chart selling 82,000 copies.

Taylor's song for Stand Up 2 Cancer deserves that #1 spot so much more than WANEGBT.

And of all K-Pop songs to make it big in America, why Gangnam Style? It's like...not even a serious K-Pop song.

Oh, Nicki. I think lead single will be top 10 and everything else is up in the air.

For Ke$ha, I'm sure she's gonna get more top 10's. Not sure if her lead single's gonna be a #1 though. But it's possible.

Madonna's Turn Up The Radio is still MIA in the top 1000 on iTunes.

I saw this on wiki:

In the UK, the single is Madonna's poorest performing of her career, her worst since the first release of "Lucky Star" failed to enter the UK Singles Chart in 1983. "Turn Up the Radio" reached a peak outside the official chart, at position 175.

175 Is sure a hell of a lot higher than it's getting here in the US. I wonder if it's her worst performing single in the US as well.

Ronan proves that Taylor has so much more talent than she allows with songs like WANEGBT. My god, though. This song had me in tears within the first minute lol.

Yeah, the UK was NOT here for Madonna this time around. MDNA sold around 115K in the UK, I believe. This era has been a huge disaster for her, mostly with singles, tbh. The album sold 1.5 million WW and I think that's a solid amount in today's music market and the album went Gold in the US (490,000 so far, It'll reach Gold soon enough) and some albums by more relevant artists have yet to do that or have struggled to do so. The tour is going very well as well.

Can someone link me to Taylor's new song?
