Taylor has continued to grow. I assumed she hit her commercial peak with her second album Fearless, but then she sold 1 million in the first week with Speak Now. I'm interested to see what this next album does - especially with those kind of numbers.

Those numbers aren't really that impressive though.

An artist like her (an artist with large fanbase) should be expected to perform nothing short of what she's doing right now

La Rosalia

Everybody Talks by Neon Trees is #10 on itunes

Is it just me, or did that take an eternity?

it took an eternity, like 2 or 3 months ago you were making fun of me because I celebrated it was like 26, now it's in the top ten of iTunes :hor:

I REMEMBER THAT OMG :lmao:

Sorry :hug::sweat:

I think the following promo singles (if there are any) will give us a better idea of the fanbase size because there will be a lack of radio deal that boosts sales.

I hope there are promo singles just so we can see how they do. I mean why wouldn't there be?

Every mainstream pop artist has been releasing them since forever

Yeah, but Katy's got to like #50 and Gaga's went to #3 :laughga: well... technically TEOG had a radio deal so it doesn't count, but Hair made it to #12 on the back of digital sales from the fanbase alone!

1 Taylor Swift - We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together 1.0000

2 Flo Rida - Whistle 0.4500

Taylor is decreasing very slowly. It looks like she may be up there awhile similar to how BTW was.

People will forget the fur QUICKLY, you should all know that this is something rather trivial and, when Gaga releases new music everyone will come crawling back and love her again.

Regarding the charts, I can see a lot of longevity for WANEGBT if radio is strong, and the video is released at the right time. I don't know about any promotion scheduled as of yet. I expect the song to sell about 4 million, but I don't see it reaching 5 million, but I could be wrong.

Yeah, but then her first 5 singles from the album went #1 so :laughga:

I'd prefer for Gaga to have floppy promo single sales but #1 singles :lolgaga:
