craig 680
ughh... it is rumored that Xtina's new video is gonna be her playing as a serial killer...sound familiar? don't like it cause it's gonna lead to comparisons, and great for Gaga but I don't want this for Xtina. Reminds me of Madonna resorting to extreme violence after using s-x to shock no longer worked for her. As for Pink, she's lucky radio loves her and is pushing her music, cause the lead single isn't doing great on itunes. Reminds me of the situation with Rihanna's WHYB, but Pink isn't overexposed. Her new music is just kind of blah.
Ozzy8923 9
ughh... it is rumored that Xtina's new video is gonna be her playing as a serial killer...sound familiar? don't like it cause it's gonna lead to comparisons, and great for Gaga but I don't want this for Xtina. She does blow up a car in the snippet for the video. And the director for the video (Melina Matsoukas) isn't exactly very original when it comes to video editing, themes, production, plot etc. Some of her previous work includes S&M and we know what went down when that video was released. She will get bombarded with comparisons to WFL, Telephone, and even Radioactive by Marina and the Diamonds. I'm preparing myself for the **** that is gonna go down when that video is released. :rip:
Ozzy8923 9
In other news, Rihanna will also be releasing a new song soon. It is supposedly produced by StarGate (Only Girl, Rude Boy, S&M, Unfaithful, Take a Bow) and Benny Blanco. 7 albums in less than 8 years. That's insane. I would of done a Greatest Hits album with a few new tracks in it instead of a full blown new album.

Math 92
Parking Lot is the best single and video from Nelly this era and i'm kinda glad the lead single from ARTPOP is not coming this year anymore. these next few months will be packed with releases from several pop girls (xtina, taylor, kesha, rihanna, miley...). Arturo 40,746
I've been wanting to ask you guys if you think Believe is a sophomore slump. No not necessarily. Out of the 2 singles released in the States so far, both went top 10 (#2 and #7). Plus Boyfriend sold 2,000,000+ and As Long As You Love Me sold 1,000,000+ so I'd say that's pretty good :) X-Tina: Your Body. P!nk: Blow Me (One Last Kiss), Try. Ke$ha: Die Young. MANiCURE1295 8,673
it's kinda weird to see that P!nk, Aguilera, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Carly Ray Jepsen are all working with similar production teams. I think that's what was meant under the line "too much sameness in the music". However, too early to say because half of the artists material is still to come, but still.... and P!nk latest record is pretty good I Love Pink's new ****! MANiCURE1295 8,673
Pink is probobly gonna be really successful this era. I really like Try. Way more than BMOLK. I also like Slut Like You. Just Give Me A Reason, all those could be smashes.
Ozzy8923 9
Gaga is not releasing a single this year, she told the admin of propagaga ( they met backstage) that it's going to be released next year That's great news! I want Gaga to dominate when there is no one around to bother or disrupt her chart performance. I don't want her to be overshadowed by any other artists next year. Her only possible threat is Beyonce. But Gaga probably won't release at the same time as her, so it's all good.
Ozzy8923 9
Your Body: #4. Hopefully, it doesn't plummet. I'm here for this. It's getting healthy updates on radio and the song is climbing itunes steadily. Now, if only they would air the Voice performance and the video gets released soon.
