Also she might win not just one but two Oscars next year. Her career is fixed. She is a household name. Everybody knows her. She'll be fine. The residency in Vegas is all about her fibromyalgia and having to settle down for some time and to not go through a lot of stress with touring. That's it. Like honestly, stop worrying about her career. She's doing the Vegas residency because of her health. She wasn't ever THAT irrelevant so to claim "we have to wait for a solo pop album" is nonsense since the GP doesn't obsess over small details like that. For them it doesn't matter if it's from a solo album or a soundtrack - a Gaga song is a Gaga song. If the demand is high now, it'll still be high when solo material is released (whatever that means considering ARWTW is solo material). Kelly Clarkson? Sis, she just announced her very first arena tour since the Breakaway era, nearly two decades ago. And she just got her very own talkshow. She’s killing it right now. You must remember, she's literally been in the industry twice as long as Gaga. And, if she wins Best Pop Vocal Album for Meaning of Life, she’ll be the first female artist in history to do that three times (she already held the record, but was later tied with Adele). She could pull a Britney and lock herself away from the public in Vegas, besides some Performances here and there. Or she will release an album, doing Promo worldwide and maybe a small tour a la Britney's Asian or Europe Tour. It all comes down in what she does in the time she's in Vegas imo. On a serious note, everyone here is acting like her career is over, she wanma retire, like she isn't a big act anymore and so on. Guys, go get some fresh air, seriously, it'll only do good to y'all. I don't even have words. I'll just remind y'all that most of the Vegas dates are SOLD OUT. So it'll do well. She doesn't necessarily need to be in the public eye, she doesn't need to be praised by the GP, she doesn't need to sell 1m copies. You're just speaking like 12 yo kids who wanna use their faves sales to win debates with their friends on who's the better pop singer nowadays.
