I simply...CAN'T!

And monsters said she needed to cater to what's trendy, feature some rent-a-rapper or make plain pop bobs to fix her streaming problem.

Not only Troy leaving, but her contract with Spotify helped. iirc she negotiated a new one, or the old one expired

I always thought Troy Carter sabotaging Gaga at Spotify was a joke but now that he's left and she's finally getting added on TTH...

People need to stop with this pathetic idea. While we’re supposed to hate Troy (but he really is no different to most managers, look at Rez), he doesn’t have that power and has said nothing but nice things about Gaga after their split. So why would he?

the fact that troy was the reason gaga didnt had comercial sucess in the last 5 years, makes me sick! im so proud of our girl

He wasn’t the reason. Stop spreading fake news. She hasn’t had success in 5 years because her music hasn’t been commercial enough or she’s had a lack of support from Interscope.

he also said she fired him and Gaga says otherwise. One of them is a liar and not worth trusting.

The music industry does **** like this all the time. It's not called a cut throat industry because people actually cut throats. It's because people fight dirty. Idk if this rumor is true, but it is certainly not out of the norm if it was. And no, he is different than most managers. Managers are supposed to have the best interests of the artists who hire them at heart and Troy did not. He *thought* he knew the best from a financial level, but there's more to managing an artist than that. First and foremost, the manager works for the artist not the other way around and based on what we've heard from the both of them, it sounds like he was doing more controlling of Gaga than anything else. And for what? His promo once she was famous was terrible and he's admitted as much. He didn't know what to do with Gaga when she became huge so he cashed out like Akon. He's a poor manager for Gaga because he was not able to stay abreast of the situation as it develops and changes. Contrast that with Bobby who understands what Gaga wants, what she needs and factors those into the financials and look where she is now. She was completely over and now she's a household name as a movie star and serious vocalist as well as performer. It should go without saying how amazing it is that just 3 years before her half time performance she was deemed irrelevent and a flop. That's quite a feat to take her from there to that. Gaga can take warring opinions, but I think she would just like to be respected or feel respected which it's clear she does with Bobby managing her business.

Gaga was everywhere and had great promo when she was huge though. The gp just started to lose interest, and he cashed out. The Born This Way promotion was better than anything Bobby has done.

I’m just glad she got out of that toxic working relationship and has now reinvigorated her career by using her talent. Either way, we’ll NEVER know what happened between them. “Creative differences” is vague, it’s all very hush-hush, but I have no doubts in my mind that ARTPOP was not profitable, in his eyes.

They lost interest because he did a bad job promoting her. He put her in everyone’s faces relentlessly and people got sick of seeing her. He knew how to make her a star, but you can’t apply that approach when she’s already huge. Sticking her everywhere, exhausting her, having her come up with some half baked performances because she was just stretched too thin, etc. Just because there was more promo does not make it better promo. It was wildly inefficient during BTW. Sure there was a lot of promo but to what effect? It didn’t really garner her any more acclaim and in fact hurt her both physically and professionally.
