He did, but if that's truly the case then why bother singing in the film at all/doing a soundtrack? Such a waste of talent.

??

He sings in the film because it is part of character.

I know, but I feel like given the success of the film they need to at least perform SOMETHING somewhere. Even if it's on TRL or in the NYC subway.

Didn’t Bradley say he isn’t going to ever perform these songs again?

Maybe a plate of heated pasta leftovers could change his mind? :laughga:

She should do a medley of Shallow, Always Remember Us This Way, Is That Alright , and I'll Never Love Again. She could top her Sound of Music tribute.:firega:

Where was that? Maybe he'd make an exception for the Oscars.

Did he say why? It can't be because of nerves because he sang in front of real crowds at Glastonbury and Coachella.

I'm sure Interscope and Warner Bros are smart enough to nominate INLA.

Yes, Shallow is good, has commercial success, etc. However, INLA is the type of song the Academy dies for. It's a power ballad, and it basically sums up the whole film quite nicely.

On the other-hand, Shallow is great, but doesn't connect to the film at the same level INLA does.
