Pierre 10,480
Everytime I refresh kworb, and Shallow remains #1. Edit: wrong thread ❝Is not blue, not turquoise, not lapis. It's actually cerulean❞.
SevenWonder 4,298
I work in film. The number 1 movie isn't a big deal at all the way it is in music (I've said this before, saying it again!). It's all about the $$$. There's no ego/bragging about a number one film the way it is in music. ASIB is going to do $300+WW which is insane for an R-Rated musical. This is huge. This has a chance to be a Grease level success. Watched for decades.

ASIB could have had very little gross on a slow week and been number one... but that's not success. Then the awards the film can get will determine how well the bluray release will go. It's all looking good so far but needs a drip of promo to continue whether that's ads or interviews. I'm going to guess it has its cinema run extended a little. Yeah but they generally have promo campaigns for newer releases around Oscar time so there's a big boost.

I would say 12-14 is average here (Boston) and the nice theaters with reclining seats are like $18-28, legit.

JusKeepBreathin 19,311
Since the names Gaga and Venom are in the news so much now. Wouldn't it be great if Gaga played the villain in Venom 2. Like Scream Or someone else. Just a thought.
