I also think that when endings are ambiguous it requires some creative thinking on the audience's part to think about what could have happened after that. Yes, this is one of the reasons why i love this version. Throughout the movie, especially in the third act, Bradley tends to use visual storytelling, with plot details that ‘show’ rather than just ‘tell’. Very poetic.
