Is it really that good?    It supposed to represent how most pop music are cash grab, that it doesn't matter if the song have stupid lyrics, so long it got simple infectious beats, most people who are easily influenced by media and their own groups will eat it up, while the artist may not be really represent the value the recording company try to sell. It is multi million dollars industry after all.

I mean it's really catchy but singing about a guy's jeans and the bridge being "I can't stop thinking bout what you do to me" is REALLY MESSY.

In the movie during the snl scene, the Oooo ooo oOOOooo's in the chorus sound so majestic and cool with the acoustics of the room it was filmed in I think it fits in with the mystical quality that accompanies Jack slowly reaching for the drink and seeing his brother.
