WHERE is the teaser for the Lion King?? :grr:

That was a cute teaser though.

We’ll definitely get something before the end of the year

the lion king uses more cgi than Aladdin so it may take a bit for a teaser trailer to come

I love the initial posters they make for their remakes

I love that they just focus on one iconic symbol from the movie

Will the Lion King's be Pride Rock?

No, a wildebeest footprint.

Honestly if you don’t like this then you don’t like the original one. This is literally replica of the original. Music/scenery/characters/dialoge - everything is the same. It looks magical and it bring so much nostalgia. Can’t wait to see this. And the actor playing Aladdin is PERFECT for the role. Looks so much like the character. So handsome.

They did us Europeans really dirty to release it for us in the middle of the night :messga:

It's just a  teaser... but I really hoped to see more of everything. Anyways, the tiny bits they have showed look nice.

I just noticed the release date for Aladdin is a known curse date for Disney. I am worried a little now. Their movies released on Memorial Day weekend in the past few years have been bad, get poor critics and flopped financially, i.e: Tomorrowland, Pirates Of Caribbean: Dead Man Tell No Tales, Alice: Behind Looking Glass, Solo

Well..., good luck Aladdin, hope tou will break the curse :diane:

this was reshot multiple times due to producers being unhappy with the end product so don't hold your breath

Well, Tomorrowland was a new story and they basically wasted the potential of those 50s neo-futurism potential. Pirates... well, with the controversy around Johnny Depp at that time going on and other iconic characters not being in it... The Alice sequel was something nobody wanted. Solo suffered from the anti-Star Wars movement that the Last Jedi sparked (also Han is a beloved and Iconic character) and it would have been better to release it in Winter like all other SW movies.
So there where multiple things coming into play with these movies.

On the other side, Aladdin is already quite getting a hype already, because everyone is curious how Will Smith will be as the Genie, of course there is the diversity factor and for me personally, has a lot of potential to become an enhanced version of the animated movie. Long story short: I think the starting point for those movies is already quite different.
