Music/scenery/characters/dialoge - everything is the same. It looks magical and it bring so much nostalgia. Can’t wait to see this. And the actor playing Aladdin is PERFECT for the role. Pirates... well, with the controversy around Johnny Depp at that time going on and other iconic characters not being in it... The Alice sequel was something nobody wanted. Solo suffered from the anti-Star Wars movement that the Last Jedi sparked (also Han is a beloved and Iconic character) and it would have been better to release it in Winter like all other SW movies. So there where multiple things coming into play with these movies. On the other side, Aladdin is already quite getting a hype already, because everyone is curious how Will Smith will be as the Genie, of course there is the diversity factor and for me personally, has a lot of potential to become an enhanced version of the animated movie.
