Skabi 3,096 Posted October 11, 2018 Share Posted October 11, 2018 i mean we're all in a gaga stan site and of course we would love to see her get more roles and recognition, BUT ursula is one of the very very few plus sized characters, u know? i would love to see her portrayed by a plus size woman, maybe a drag queen since divine was the inspiration behind this character! i dont think gaga is fit for this character either way, she's way too petite to portray this "person". ursula is all about size and curves etc etc and she has this attitude and body language that i can only imagine a plus sized girl serving, but maybe its just me Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Disney live-action remakes track records are also hit or miss anyway, as is Rob Marshalls. She should wait for a Disney animated film which are much more consistent quality wise. It’s just about keeping the essence of the character and choosing an actor that will embody what everyone expects when they see Ursula. I mean, this is already making news and it is just a rumor so far! I freaking told y'all!! Go back to 2012 when Disney TRIED to reintroduce a slim Ursula and got a HUGE backlash and Disney had to backtracked in effect to that. Some of y'all who are delulu enough to think this is OK just to fit your own agenda, you cannot just change something especially if that something is having source material aka the cartoon, and are well loved by MILLIONS of people. You can't win. Gaga better be smart and stay away from this. Stay FAR AWAY! This is pandora box she don't want to open early at her acting career.
