In my humble country, the Philippines, I heard some radio DJs praising Gaga about her 5 consecutive #1 albums and then praising her on AISB. I was expecting them to play Shallow right after.

BUT GUESS WHAT? THEY PLAYED AYO INSTEAD???????? :duck:

Is this FM1? HAHA

10 years ago radio didn't want to play Just Dance because it was 'too undergroundy' ....

I hope radio sees the light again and a new music trend era could be started with a song like Shallow.....

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I feel one single is enough, with some awards promotion with INLA.

like this:

Shallow: 1st and only official single. Peaks  in sales around late October, and peaks in streaming sometime early November. Continues to rise up on radio up until Christmas where it has a slow decline well into the new year.

ARUTW: Kinda feeds off the success of Shallow. Think of it like the Shape of You/Castle on the Hill situation. By the time Shallow has peaked, it will be too late to release this as an official single, because most people would have already heard/bought the track (since it’s the second most popular song on the album), and cause we need January/February for INLA promo. By letting it follow right behind the footsteps of Shallow, this song grows very organically and gives the listener another alternative.

INLA: Small little promo campaign starting sometime in January. Ads all over TV and the Internet with a trailer for ASIB with this playing for the bluray/DVD release. (if it’s still in cinemas, then for cinemas). Have a little Spotify and radio deal; however, the success of the song won’t be the main objective, as this is the track that is used to win all the awards. The track will then be performed at the Oscars and (hopefully) Gaga and Bradley take a few home.

LG6 lead single: I feel this should be released no later than March, as an announcement around the Oscars and Grammy’s wold be excellent promotion (as she would still be in the public eye and on FIRE). News outlets would promote the announcement and everybody would most likely be interested in what she has in store next.

then LG6 could be released sometime in April-June. With hopefully a Jazz album with Tony right before Christmas 2019 (maybe even some Jazz versions of LG6 songs on there, too) kinda like a remix album?

I couldn't imagine Shallow with any other structure,

I also couldn't envision Bradley doing that chorus :smh:

It would definitely take away from the momentum of the chorus when Gaga sings it

Signature loading… 👹🖤

As far as singles go, I think we all agree that Always Rembeber Us This Way and I’ll Never Love Again are the obvious follow ups to Shallow once it’s done.

if shallow does well all through the next two months, then they should wait until after Christmas and then push INLA, in them for awards season, as that’s clearly the Oscar contenter. After it’s had its run push through with Always Remember Us This Way around March time, as the perfect era closer.

How does this compare with her Enigma schedule?

One year in the Spotlight won’t be bad. It will renew Gaga’s success. I’m sure she will probably start a family after Vegas anyway.

I’m not sure. Nonetheless, assuming she wins, the Oscar/Grammy’s success and hype built around her should be enough to promote her endeavours for a short while after the ASIB era ends.
