Does anyone else like airplay being apart of the chart? It would be great if they lessened the weight of it no doubt, but besides it not working in our favor, to me it adds a leading element to the equation of how the song does.

It causes payola and personal bias to potentially ruin the popularity and reputation of an artist.

Ask Janet Jackson, Mariah... hell, anyone.

Why should a radio hosts personal taste have a large impact on the chart?

At this point we should aim for Shallow to have longevity, if i have to choose I’d rather have a single that stays forever on the charts than a cute little peak.

Lady Gaga is now the only artist in history to have a #1 Single, #1 Album, #1 Film at the same time in the UK!

(and she'll for sure be the only one ever to do this :vegas:)

Bradley cooper did it on his first time.

Problem here is that us, talentless little monsters, are growing up and taking over a lot of things but why isn’t anyone working on any big station in the US? Go study and do whatever you have to do to get your own show at radio. Gaga didn’t target teens at the beggining of her career to be struggling ten years later on radio.
