But it's was a big commercial underperformance for an artist that had sold 12M SPS WW with her last album only 2 years ago. I mean.....BTW debuted with 1.900.000 copies WW, ARTPOP debuted with less than 600.000 copies WW (according to Mediatraffic). And let's not talk about singles (in terms of WW sales/success) in comparison with the BTW/TF/TFM one's. I don't blame the album quality, ARTPOP is a great album. But the management was poor, and that's a fact. Yeah, the sales would have been great for a regular artist, but happened to be an enormous downgrade coming from one of the biggest album seller artist of those times.
