I don't really think Gaga's been facing agism at radio, I think she just hasn't really been a trendy 'pop' artist in terms of her delivery since everything with ARTPOP. PI/MR aren't in standard Gaga fashion, The Cure got no real push. It's only now she's met and stayed stable on all high metrics. Pop has no reason not to warm up to 'Shallow'.
