i honestly think her falsetto is one of the weaker aspects of her nearly flawless voice. sometimes she strains in a live setting to have a clear and sharp falsetto.

Well obviously she is more comfortable to sing lower notes, it's not a secret, but she is really good with falsettos now.

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

I love that Gaga gave Ally a signature style singing a lot in her falsetto. I hope to hear more like ASIB on future albums

So which songs do you think really allow Gaga to showcase her head vocals? For me it's gotta be Music To My Eyes. She sounds so fkin sultry and smooth. Probs one of the few songs where her vocals are actual perfection

I used to think Katy Perry was the queen of falsettos (she hits those high notes sooo smoothly, e.g. Hot N Cold, Teenage Dream, Walking on Air etc etc.)

You thought what? :air:

But yes all of Gaga’s falsettos give me chills.

I love the falsetto in The Cure tbh :poot:

Also idk if it qualifies but when she says 'is that alright?' in that really sweet voice it gets me every time :diane:

are u talking about the part when she sings it the second time in the first chorus? When she sounds all airy and choked up? :cryga:

Exactly. I really love that she crafted the songs with character in mind on that deep a level. These truly are *their* songs not Gaga's and I admire the dedication. I've said it before, I think that's why they're so good. She's an actor at heart and likes to try on identities so compare this to Joanne, no shade, but these songs resonate more and that's because Gaga's way of writing them was wearing a hat. To do Joanne, Gaga had to tap into herself "without the wigs" which for her is hard because she *is* the wigs and glam. So to wear a wig for Ally, I think she was able to dig a little deeper and more easily write an earnest song. It's actually super fascinating to me to see from a creative perspective since everyone has their strengths and shortcomings.

Those notes are so beautiful. I've been hoping for a long time that she would sing with the falsetto. I'm in love with her voice. :flutter:

Can Katy sing these Falsettos live though??

Genuine question. I’ve always heard that she isn’t very good live. (I did see her at Glastonbury last year and she wasn’t too bad).
