shame 25,360 Posted October 10, 2018 Share Posted October 10, 2018 I used to think Katy Perry was the queen of falsettos (she hits those high notes sooo smoothly, e.g. Hot N Cold, Teenage Dream, Walking on Air etc etc.) but after having the ASIB on repeat for the past week, I realized Gaga's falsetto/head voice finally got to shine on this album. It deserves all the attention. We already know our queen's got her belting abilities under ha belt but I never realized how flawlessly and effortlessly Gaga can reach high notes until I listened to ASIB. I don't think her head voice has ever been showcased this much in an album before. The only memorable songs I know prior to ASIB that have her singing this high is Paparazzi, Applause's ooohs and Sexxx Dreams' chorus So which songs do you think really allow Gaga to showcase her head vocals? For me it's gotta be Music To My Eyes. She sounds so fkin sultry and smooth.
