People saying a movie soundtrack is better than Gaga's actual, personal work... :saladga: I have to laugh.

1. Born This Way
2. The Fame Monster
3. ARTPOP
4. The Fame
5. Joanne

If I were to rank the movie soundtrack that in no way represents Gaga's artistic modus operandi, I guess it would be right above Joanne.

I voted ASIB because I feel like ASIB is the music my soul has been craving for a very long time. The whole soundtrack has awakened emotions I thought were pretty much dead.

I've always loved her pop music but now I feel like she's moved up several levels with the music and I can't enjoy her pop music the same way I used to. Don't get me wrong there are still songs that I love. PI is still my fave.

But I feel like she's elevated my tastes to a higher level that if she ever made another pop record she would have to outdo herself 10 times over for it to affect me like Bad Romance used to.

Having said that, it is brand new. Who knows, in a few months time I might be bored of it and might be pestering Gaga on Twitter for LG6.

It's so hard cause they all have different strength and weakness and I never know how to answer this question cause is it what I like the most or is it really what's truly her best work? I basically split her discography into two tiers: the good ones (TF, TFM, BTW, and now ASIB) and the one's I'm passive towards (AP and Joanne).

The Fame is really underrated (which I think is due to the production that didn't age well). I just think it's such great pop music and such a strong debut. A strong concept album with solid melodies and interesting lyrics and four iconic singles :legend:

TFM is probably the one I would call her "best" and my personal favorite (although ASIB has her shaking). I think this album was ambitious and brilliant. BR was revolutionary and only Gaga could pull it off. No fillers, amazing production, top of the notch songwriting, just ugh :diane:

BTW was honestly underwhelming for me when it was released and the single kinda killed the vibe for me (but I've grown to love it in time). But I really respect her for making such a strong and "controversial" statement at the height of her career. I love half of the album and think some of her best work is on here, but fillers like Bad Kids, Highway Unicorn, and Americano (which sometimes I like lol) shouldve been left off (and BJAM and The Queen on the special edition)

AP's strength were her pop melodies- really some of her best work but lyrics were cringey and production sounded messy and amateur/unfinished.

At the time, I was hoping Joanne was going to be like the songs on ASIB- classic, timeless ballads. I was just really disappointed with it and it's probably my least favorite album although I don't think it's bad. Just not my cup of tea and kinda boring.

ASIB is just flawless. Even Bradley's songs are amazing. At this point it's probably my 2nd favorite Gaga album. I just love that it's great, timeless music. It's truly Gaga at her best as a musician, lyricist, topliner, and vocalist. There isn't a song I don't like.

Thank you for coming to my TED Talk :vegas:

So hard to chose! I love all of her albums. But I guess like this:

1.BTW

2.The Fame Monster

3. ASIB OST

4.Joanne

5.The Fame

6.C2C

7.ARTPOP

Dont come at me for putting ARTPOP last it's still one of the best albums ever, I just find the other more lyrically/musically or both superior.

I haven't listened to C2C in full so:oops:
Edit: This in no way reflects my favourites, just objective quality.

Born This Way in terms of dance music/imagery/creative production

ASIB in terms of ballads and vocals.

I agree with this! I’m torn because they are so different yet so perfect for what they both represent. Gaga’s versatility is truly unparalleled :diane:
