She needs a challenge this girl and not a safe zone.. so Ursula is a no from me.. But Ursula well written can be a challenge for ANY actor/actress Sorry but it's those one of a kind roles that can really make actors in live movie for kids suddenly be oscar contender. Even more if she picks some comedy tricks with Rose Odonell looooooool, im getting way ahead of myself though ot: anyhow i love wicked but gurl doesnt have the range for wicked witch Squadron whatever, that movie is horrible I dont like any of these choices, and so far that little mermaid sounds floppy, besides the musical collaboration I personally think her next role shouldnt be in a musical, at least right away

Ursula at the end is a very one dimensional character, just like many of the Disney villains, they are aiming for kids.. Even Elsa is not a deep character, they were just lucky to cast the right actress/singer and wrote the right song.. but as a whole it's just another Disney movie for kids.. good characters, bad character, a mess, everything is solved, happily ever after.. sethrb101 4,486
Came here to post this The Little Mermaid would be great, but I'm really fond of the idea of her playing Elphaba. She loves the Wizard of Oz. Suicide Squad can choke. No. I'd also love to see her take on a completely original role.

That's the jizz, i'm talking the character can be well explored and portraied in a fashion that really gives life. I think Ursula has it in her lol. A theater seasoned actor would slay that kind of role. I think Gaga with some research, going for the source of the role, giving us a bit of the persona that inspired, with some references, gving some specifics and depths, could pull it but it's not all on her, and yeah... i dont want them to cast gaga, the wig changer

In fact, I've told a lot of people here that they shouldn't necessarily be expecting her to win, but that doesn't mean that I don't have faith. I think she definitely could win an Oscar. Well we all can gave faith but it really is a long shot from what I think. Especially with the movie release being so far from the Oscars. ASIB is literally at the very beginning of the Awards' season, so while there are still a lot of movies to go, I suppose we'll just have to wait and see. I think realistically, Glenn Close will win the Oscar, but I have some hope that Gaga could potentially win. dit 45,359
I LOVE all three roles she put on the thumbnail (Ursula, Elphaba from Wicked and Poison Ivy). This is also the second time she mentions Ursula and she even said she thinks Disney's CEO is thinking of casting Gaga as a re imagined Ursula in another video and this one!
