Bad Kids 3,055
you mean something like this track? :3 And when you say my name, like white horses on the waves, I think it feels the same, as an ocean in my veins.
ImTired 3,955
Red an Blue says heeeeeeeey. I've always felt she does best on the piano getting ballady.
Glamourpuss 29,062
I've been waiting for her to channel Stefani. The girl in the dive bars with brown hair rocking out at the piano. I used to love watching those videos.

It might, but looking at the lyrics at face value, it’s “dumb” in terms of its lyrical content. 🦠🧙♀️🥀📸🎉👻🕺🧟💊💖☎️🔪👤🐺🌱🌎
Othon 33,458
Oh, so now we’re out here claiming that Gaga really should just abandon pop music and that she wasn’t ever really meant to do that anyway? That she’s not really all that talented at it and should make more music like what’s on the soundtrack, all of which is... pop music? You young fans... I can’t with you all pretending that 1) you don’t actually want pop music from the woman you started loving for her pop music, 2) that ballads are not, in fact, pop music or are somehow inherently more high-brow or have some sort of depth that a dance song supposedly cant have. It’s sad that you’ve embraced the elitist, superficial, dismissive attitude towards pop music that Gaga has been fighting against her whole career just because Gaga’s been in ONE movie. It’s almost like you never understood her as an artist at all, this entire time... Pop music will never be low brow, hunties.

Leblanc 2,454
The best quote I've heard in a while was "Don't let someone's fantasies dictate your reality" and it really rang true for me and my perception of Gaga. I 100% appreciate her more for taking control of her own career and doing what she WANTS to do rather than what her fans THINK she should do. If she spends her life making others happy at the expense of her own then she would be wasting her life. I enjoy what she is doing now and respect her for putting her own interests first, it really inspires me to do the same Coven Season
VOLANTIS 16,406
Not all Pop songs have to be mindless though. I'll lift you 3 inches off the ground and drag you to a meter and a half
Robo Ga 15,297
SHE CAN DO BOTH AND DO BOTH AMAZINGLY WELL. GOOD BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEE 🤖⚡️
dynamite 58,940
I love Joanne and the ASIB soundtrack is really good but I do hope she still puts out really 'out there' pop songs. Aside from some The Fame tracks (kind of), her pop music has never been basic, generic crap like what fills the charts. She can do both. Enigma 7,182
Laughing at y'all using the 3 pop songs of this soundtrack to dismiss her talent for pop They're NOT her songs. She'd never do that kind of sound on her own. If anything, we got the confirmation from ASIB that she's versatile enough to pull off both.
Cody James 1,517
I think she is just ready to do things HER way. Obviously she has already started the next era and its with producers that are more EDM inspired, BUT she has been more hands on (as we have seen in ASIB and the soundboards). But yes, bring dem ballads on as well!
LeJudas 6,490
I love everything she does. Literally. She always makes sure it's perfect at the moment she finishes it. Some songs or whatever are better than others but they're all still great and grow on you with a few listens. I'm so ****ing happy in this ASIB ERA. I can peacefully wait for the next one and be excited for lg6 at the same time. I know she's gonna do something fresh, exciting and different and I'm gonna love it no matter what the GP™ says. Guest ARTPOPSlays
10 hours ago, DutchHooker said: Well, I think I mean lyrics that aren't serious, Poker Face for example.. And a full album with songs like that... I cannot understand why you should want that? Ballad after ballad.. Gaga is not Adele.. Your right. Gaga isn’t Adele. She’s Gaga. And she undefinable. She said herself “when people think they know what Lady Gaga is, I want to remind them that they don’t”. No shade against your personal taste at all, but she should not feel strapped down to making the same type of songs all the time, it’s boring and she’s too talented to not venture out. I don't stan a balladartist, because i'm not sad, I like life and want to dance.. Gaga has the perfect voice for pop, every popsong with her voice sounds so freaking good.. Not everything has to be "lyrically professional" or "intelligent", enjoy life and dance on HBF This this this!!!! 10000% agreed.
