I shed a few tears in the theater during the final song, but for some reason... right when I got in my car I started sobbing! Like it actually surprised me, I didn’t see it coming at all.

I felt every emotion. But when I cried I cried hard. I was devastated at the end.

I knew it was a sad love story but I really didn't know it was going to be as hard hitting as it was. I suffer with depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts. I'm a recovering alcoholic and Bradley's story really resonated with me. I had a panic attack at the end because I was reminded of those dark feelings when you're at the lowest of the low and death feels like the only option. I sort of wish I'd known what I was getting myself into before I saw it but I wanted to avoid all spoilers.

But I'm so glad it's such an emotional film because we've been needing this for a very long time. There's no emotion in music anymore. Every song was so authentic and so real. The story is just so well told. I think it's my favourite film of all time but I don't think I'll ever be able to watch it again until my mental health has improved.

I'm still reliving the scenes in my head and I've been listening to the soundtrack. I love it when a film stays with you long after you've watched it. Even though the dark parts affected me negatively, there's so much beauty in the story.

I didn't cry. Not bc I was not moved, but bc I literally never cry :selena: . But I legitimately stopped breathing the last five minutes of the movie

Ew, David!
