Karl 3,396
I said it on the other thread about this but in York, a major city, the only cinemas are Vue and 2 very local small cinemas that usually favour art house and European films. The next nearest multiplex is like Leeds city centre which is 45 min drive away, just a joke tbh.

Battle 4 Ur Life 6,704
I came thirsty to drag them but it's very clear it's not their fault. poor guys, they are losing so much money. and the dumb studio to so they need to make this work fast. the whole world should watch this movie. it's one of my favorite movies already. it's too beautiful. “Fantastic, chic, freak, slay.”
Economy 49,633
They said they are working hard and it does seem weird in the first place for then not to air it There could of been a legal hiccup or accidental mistake or issue who knows We don't know is the situation but there has to be a reason

Yeah let's not drag them without knowing the situation. A popular anticipated movie like this not getting screened has to have a reason Maybe there was a legal problem or mistake preventing them from screening it at this time who knows

If things aren't convenient they wont go out of their way to watch it. So this is troubling. Of course as many have mentioned there are other theaters but they are absolutely missing out on those spontaneous ticket sales by ppl who just walk to a theater near by and watch whatever movie is playing at the moment. scallywally 626
Nightmare! The Vue though has to way up its profits, I always said going up against Venom was a bad idea. The cinemas would want to know the cost of the movie margins as opposed to having another movie playing. Either the studio thinks its worth more than it is or the cinema is negotiating because the other screens are doing well and not worth the risk. dynamite 58,779
wtf even a tiny cheap cinema near me had it, but the VUE doesn't? Like a poem said by a neydy in red

It's a minor blow, but you'd definitely struggle to find any major city in the UK that only has a Vue. Cineworld and ODEON are larger and have more screens across the country than Vue, and most towns and cities will normally have at least two of them, if not all. As well as smaller chains and local cinemas. It's totally weird that this has happened though, and I'd like to know the reason for it. They would obviously want this film otherwise they're simply losing out on an audience to other chains. Bizarre. Also, it looks like they're very much getting the message from the GP that they want it to be shown... I'm glad Demi is still employed, it'll take her mind off the rehab stuff. There can be 99 bottoms in the area but all it takes is 1 top to believe in you.
