One being a Vue, the other two being an ODEON and Cineworld. This isnt just one cinema. This is the entire Vue chain of cinemas so even in smaller cities. And yes there are probably other theaters but still. You'd be shocked the amount of ppl who watch a movie out of a whim and now ASIB is missing out on that from ppl going to Vue not sure what to watch. Still not that big of a deal but this is a little messy for a major picture release.

withjudas 168
I'm from the UK and I've said it before, for some reason the UK doesn't seems to give much support to Gaga. I know this is just about ASIB, but in general, I always get this sense that the UK tabloids/media/companies think they are above Gaga and it really gets to me. I really appreciate the US for fully embracing Gaga more than us TBH

I really appreciate the US for fully embracing Gaga more than us TBH Honestly, it'll be nothing to do with how much support our country gives her, Vue will have just messed up negotiations when they made their bid for the film or something like that OP: Isn't Vue like much smaller than Cineworld and Odeon. I don't think it'll hurt it that much because, it seems that in most places where there's a Vue, like city centres or major interest points like Meadowhall, there's other cinemas near by anyway
Harry 26,836
As annoying as this is, I don't think it will harm ASIB here. It's a minor blow, but you'd definitely struggle to find any major city in the UK that only has a Vue. Cineworld and ODEON are larger and have more screens across the country than Vue, and most towns and cities will normally have at least two of them, if not all. As well as smaller chains and local cinemas. It's totally weird that this has happened though, and I'd like to know the reason for it. They would obviously want this film otherwise they're simply losing out on an audience to other chains. Bizarre. Also, it looks like they're very much getting the message from the GP that they want it to be shown...

Haroon 49,685
Yeah I was shocked when I saw that last night when looking for today’s show times Like they premiered at the Vue in Leicester Square or something, so what’s the deal? I booked tickets at a bigger cinema a bit further away anyway, thankfully my sister’s still fine going there because it’s actually closer for her

Luxe Ford 3,481
Maybe the person in charge just f***ed up with filing for the licensing? Oops! Someone just got fired and heavily fined. What happens in Luxe Ford stays in Luxe Ford
Dawson 9,486
It's because Warner Brothers want 80% of the profit from showings of the film and Vue won't allow it.
