HBF is the worst abomination in her discography. :triggered:

And yet...slaps.so.hard.

to me it’s the most listenable of the pop ones. I literally cannot even listen to WDYDT. It’s just so so awful lolololol with HBF, I think at least the hooks are reminiscent of Gaga’s own work so there’s something to latch onto while fully recognizing it’s so incredibly generic and unoriginal hahahaha

There are too many good songs on the album for me to even focus on one :firega:

It's another of my favorite songs.

I agree, I haven't felt this way about an album in forever. I do have a top 3 favourites, but the rest keep changing cause they're all so good, even Bradley's songs :legend:

I actually think that Heal Me is the most listenable of the pop tracks.

And honestly, considering this fan base, I'm really REALLY shocked at the amount of loathing the "pop bops" have received. I think Hands Body Face is fun and sexy. And I love it.

I am over WDYDT already, it's a bit excessively catchy and I can't really stand it stuck in my head anymore.

I'm ruining the surprise I know lol, but which past Gaga songs/albums are these ASIB tracks most similar to?

The soundtrack is obviously the most similar with Joanne (the emotional tone of the songs, country/ folk/ Americana and dance-rock influences, acoustic songs, a lot of guitars, strings, unprocessed vocals, raw feeling of the songs and so on). Diggin' My Grave is a less electronic and more Western John Wayne. Or a more upbeat Sinner's Prayer. Always Remember Us this Way reminds me of Come To Mama melody-wise.

I'll Never Love again reminds me of Til It Happens To you a bit.

Hair Body Face has a The Fame-esque, ''old'' Gaga vibe (many fans including myself noticed similarities with The Fame demos). Lyrically is more reminiscent of Born This Way.

Why Did You Do That? and Heal Me have the clean trop-pop production and R&B influences of The Cure.

Then there are plenty of bluesy songs that sound like Red and Blue outtakes (Look What I Found, Music To My Eyes). In a way this soundtrack is a recollection of every style Gaga experienced with in her albums.

Look What I Found is one of my favourites!! It’s super soulful and funky I love it. Reminds me of an Amy Winehouse or Paloma Faith kinda song it’s so good!

Chromatica and it’s completely different but also still chromatica

Look What I Found is definitely my favorite song from the soundtrack. I can put it on and INSTANTLY be bopping and in a great mood. It’s very Stevie Wonder.

I have a theory that she paid tribute to her idols on this soundtrack. ARUTW = Elton, IWNLA = Whitney...

I definitely hear Elton John, Whitney, and Stevie Wonder on this album, for sure...

SO STOKED she released Look What I Found as a music video!

It's the most upbeat, uplifting, fun, funky, joyful, soulful song on the album. I'm so thrilled!!
