Following the news that "Tom Hardy says all of his favorite parts of Venom got cut out of the movie", here comes the first reactions of "Venom."

The official reviews from film critics will arrive in hours.

Confirmed: Mother Monster will beat a Marvel Monster!:lolly::lolly:

(Hey, but I just found out there are lots of fake(repeated) reviews coming from different accounts........Some people thought they are ASIB fans trying to attacking Venom. Let's prevent ourselves from doing that kind of disgraceful thing!:ohno:)

@Tom_Jorgensen

"Sorry to say that #Venom is pretty much a complete failure - a tonal mess that feels 15 years old, ignoring the storytelling strides that the superhero genre has made in recent years. A few fun Venom-centric moments aside, it has nearly nothing to offer. Don't get your hopes up."

@PNemiroff

"Significant chunks of #Venom don’t work *at all* but there is some serious charm to the Eddie/Venom relationship. Not sure I had the intended reactions to some scenes but fun is fun - even when it’s totally ridiculous, right? It’s too bad they didn’t go for the R rating though."

@treadtalks

"Now that impressions can be shared: #Venom is pretty much this year’s Fant4stic.:selena: Everyone except for Hardy is coasting through their performance... I would hate to have to do press for this movie. #Venom #TomHardy"

@DanielRPK

"Venom is Catwoman level bad:selena:, with Tom Hardy's worst performance since This Means War. DON'T SEE THE MOVIE!"

@rustypolished

"Social embargo for #Venom is up. I talk about this a lot in my review but this is a movie that somehow slipped through a wormhole from 2004. That's my biggest take. It's a movie that spilled from the pre-MCU era through a crack in time and space.It's...not a complete disaster? At least I was never mad watching it? But it is an excruciatingly surreal experience. The humor, the story beats, everything right down to the Eminem theme song feels like it emerged Kimmy Schmidt style from a sealed off early 00s bunker.Think Affleck Daredevil. Think Ang Lee Hulk. Think Halle Berry Catwoman. That's...I mean, that's really all there is to be said, I think. It's absolutely bizarre."

@bverhoev

"Venom wasn’t as bad as everyone was saying it was going to be. Tom Hardy is and always will be a great actor, and I laughed a lot — but I’m not sure whether that was intentional or not. Post-credit scene is."

@Hectorisfunny

"Venom was surprisingly funny! I had a freaking great time watching it. Despite some problems, it did right by its main character, Eddie Brock/Venom. People forget that he's always had a weird sense of humor in the comics, and that humor is fully on display in the movie!"

@BrandonDavisBD

"Action-sequences and Eddie and Venom's odd relationship are the highlights of #Venom but if Sony wants to move forward with a universe, it needs to just keep the few parts that work and scrap the large portion which does"

By the way it's ugly as hell that Twitter Gaga stans (Lady Gaga Now even retweeted a fake review) are pulling this sh*t as if Madonna stans weren't doing the exact same thing for ASIB.

Like... we'll never f***ing learn huh :saladga:

It will still have a big opening week. Marvel fans won't stop whatching because of what critics say (most don't even read that stuff)

But what it may affect is grossing in later weeks as friends tell their friends that it wasn't that good or worth seeing if that is indeed the case

Okay let's not do this. We can't stop Twitter monsters but us GGD ones who are on Twitter can stop. Spread kindness. :kara:

Also I feel bad for feeling good about the mixed review thing... Shallow is still on top. Ugh my heart.

negative reviews aren't going to stop it being bigger this week whatsoever just stop

those idiots posting fake reviews because they think they're being funny or legitimately think they're helping ASIB can only hurt ASIB if it gets enough traction

don't stoop to a certain fanbase's level if this comes back to hurt the movie you can only blame yourselves

that's kinda sad tbh, because he must've felt so proud of the work he did in those scenes, and they just cut them out. of course, the editors might not have known but still, I feel bad for tom hardy :selena:

That's a shame, I was actually excited for this movie. It seemed different to all the other superhero movies that just kind of repeat the same things in different costumes.

Eh I think it already won't be *huge* since there doesn't seem to be an enormous interest for it since Marvel didn't make it. I mean, fans know Sony hasn't made a good Spider-Man since 2002 (although I liked the first Andrew Garfield one, but that might be because I thought he was crazy hot)
