Nothing to do with Gaga at all, apart from the fact she wrote them. With Ally in mind. Watch the film, and see it through that perspective. Then you’d understand. I know because I got to see a bit of it thru my friend's phone. Context matters so stop being negative. It's not that she just decided to make some generic stuff, but it's related to the character's shift in the music she makes. Or at least I see it that way. But I understand your point. Some people don't value the effort because they prefer to be entertained for a while, but that's it. They ignore the heartfelt ballads or the brilliant lyrics because they get bored or don't understand it. That's maybe why they didn't like Joanne.
