Voted for Applause even tho the real answer is DWUW.

But out of all those, Applause was the only one who received all these: a video, multiple performances, radio support and great streaming statics (it stayed 8 weeks inside the top 10 WW Spotify (Weekly list) back in 013).

All the others lack in those departments so that's why I don't view them as a hit material.

  • Admin changed the title to Last solid Gaga single

The Cure was commercially her last solid single in Germany. It spent 12 weeks in the charts (Perfect Illusion, 31, 2 weeks; Million Reasons, 85, 1 week).

I hope Shallow will succeed in Germany.

IDK what "solid" means, so I chose the last single era that was personally satisfying for me.

I don't care at all about chart performance or who else from my country heard/liked the song. I like a single era with an epic music video and distinct sartorial choices. None of the Joanne era singles have done it for me in that regard, despite there being pretty good songs which charted. So I voted for G.U.Y., which is what I see as the last pure Gaga masterpiece before she decided to make some major career adjustments.

John Wayne almost brought me back with its fun and inspiring music video. I love when she intentionally includes DIY fashion that the fans can easily emulate themselves, such as the glovekini and garden panty, the paper bear outfit from GUY, and the cowboy boot corset from John Wayne. But it went by too quickly, it was just a blip on the radar and I didn't notice a distinct fashion era surrounding it. So GUY still takes the cake for me!

My old cat is a tough man, but i cant deny the way he bites my hand and he stabs me, he grabs me by my heart <3

I know but I said in the spoiler that it's not the point. I put the singles/songs that had the most potential. I also put dwuw even though we're not sure it was a single and the same for The Cure

Quality: all of them

Originality: all of them except The Cure

Hit material: Marry The Night, Applause, Do What U Want, G.U.Y, The Cure, John Wayne

John Wayne isn't a single btw. :poot:
