I think there's no duality and it's just a marketing scheme lol. She used to do tons of classy side projects as the "old" Lady Gaga but that was, again, just a side thing. She never let that take over her whole identity because it wasn't her. She was Gaga, the end.

This whole duality thing is just something she's forcing herself to do not to disappoint her old fans too much and to still make money off of them. Sorry but that's probably the truth. Don't be surprised if she ditches the Gaga completely in five years.
