"Shallow" is the result of working with a vocal engineer as a producer

please no one get me wrong because what i will say is just an opinion .. And please no one takes it personally...

I was so excited to hear "shallow" because honestly I loved it at first and I was thinking what I heard in the first trailer is just two separate songs and tbh I was shocked and disspointed last night when I heard the full song .. It's not that I don't love it it's just the mixing and the boring stucture ruined it for me...  After i heard it i was curious to knew the genius who produced it and I found out that his name is Benjamin rice and again I was shocked to know that he's never produced a song in his life and he was only a vocal engineer or a composer .. So my question is why a talented person like lady gaga choose to work with unprofessional people like Benjamin rice and mark Nilan ?

What i said is just an opinion and this is allowed.

For me it is fine and I love the song, the unorthodox structure and crowd sound is to fit the movie and the story.  Song would’ve been perfect for me had they not had crowd noise; thankfully less crowd and effects in the iTunes version compared to YT.

Production wise I don’t understand the hate. The fans sound horrible yes but the instruments itself, Bradley, and Gaga sound flawless. Super clear and crisp. The structure isn’t the producers doing entirely. Regardless this song will grow on you, which is why I’m glad I heard the leaks. Once I got used to the structure, I  fell in love. The song is amazing.

That’s pretty ignorant.

The only thing i found a little awkward was the lack of a pause before the big "moment", it came out of nowhere. But i dont really mind it, i just feel like maybe the song deserves to be longer.

There can be 99 bottoms in the area but all it takes is 1 top to believe in you.

I'm not complaining about the fans in the background or the live version of the song..  I love the song but the mixing is horrible

I understand it's your opinion, but don't call them unprofessional because that is one big insult to their work, which is not bad, it's just one that you didn't enjoy.

Only a recommendation from me.

It's not really fair to call them unprofessional people just because they don't have credits for a particular role. People are trained in lots of different aspects of production, not necessarily what they specialise most in. And there's nothing wrong with them trying to expand their skill set.

That's like asking why a talented, A-list movie star like Bradley Cooper would dare to work with someone unprofessional like Gaga, because she has very few acting credits.

"mixing" again. What is that mixing thing? Seriously you all pretend to know a thing about producing music, but in reality you don't. You're just not so fond of that song and that's it. Don't blame it on the mixing.

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

please stop drama, shallow is a great song, it has live vibes and i kinda like it, it fits well with the movie vibes, i want you to remember that these songs aren't made to be played on radio or being #1 on charts but to promote the movie.

The only issue i have is that it sounds like it was a full song that's had parts cut out to make it shorter
