Re: Crowd Noises

The crowd noises are fine but they should’ve released an alternative album with no dialogue and no crowd.  Yes there are huge live albums in history but they all had studio album versions.

Now I see where you're both coming from.

Seeing the movie before hearing this version was great because it reminds you of the best scene in the film, AKA when she sings Shallow. Deadass is possibly one of the best scenes I have ever seen in a film ever.

I think the crowd noise comes from the Trust Me dialogue that will come before the track. They probably made this so the album sounds seamless and have continuity maybe

You can even notice that it starts suddenly, without any fade in

What’s in a reverse-warholian expedition?

Yeah because the track kinda starts abruptly rather than smoothly.  Although I’m sure most of the other tracks will have crowd noise including our much awaited pop bops.

I’m in delulu land that they will announce a third version of the soundtrack with no dialogue and the same version as the trailer.  It’s strange how it’s a different vocal and mix from the trailer, which was a studio version.

REALITY

I actually love the crowd noises. What I'm going to say may seem really melodramatic, but it reminds me a lot of my dad.

He and I sort of had a rough relationship, and to an extent, we still do, but our love for music is one thing that brings us together. He listens to a lot of old-school rock songs (so I'm hoping he likes ASIB when I take him ), and in a lot of the songs, it's done live. You can hear the imperfections in the singer's voice and you can hear the audience scream/cheer.

When I heard the fact that this was a live song and the audience cheers, it made me immediately think of him, which to me (obviously), was really powerful and moving. The song itself is still incredibly beautiful. I can already tell the music from this movie is going to be some of the best that Gaga has ever recorded/sung.

the movie is a (sit)com, so the audience noises were a necessity. :trollga:
