A REAL studio version definitely exists, and if anyone can't hear the difference in HOW SHE SINGS, well... check your ears:green:

I also think it should be released at some point. Maybe,in the context of the entire soundtrack, the one released today fits better, but the "growlings" of the trailer version are better than the entire Joanne album.

We're still waiting for the second act. It won't happen. We'll have to accept the ****ty master they chose for the soundtrack. :rip:

Judas is coming, let the cultural baptism begin.

I just loved the vocals on the bridge in the trailer so much, so powerful and strong. The way she sings it in the actual song is good, but just not as strong in my opinion.

I would love the studio version but if this is what they have been working on and decided to release, I will accept it and listen to it just like listening to the rest of her albums. It's a soundtrack album after all, another kind of experience than listening to studio albums. And I accept it this way.

I mean WTF! This is the most negative site for GAGA. I need to delete my account here. Full of negativity. “Fans” have Always something to complain about. Never been satisfied? EAT my d*ck. This is the best time to reunite us all but this “thread” just spreads negativity and we don’t need that rn! If You have something say that you will know will impact others on buying the song, keep it to your self!! We don’t care about your opinion coz we wanna support Gaga all the way, that’s being “true lil monsters”. So if you will not buy it then don’t. Who cares? Just shut your mouth and sit.

All of the instruments, incl. Gaga's voice, sound horribly mixed. I don't get what's going on with Gaga. Her music since 2013 has been mixed downright terribly (TIHTY being the obvious low point). I expect her to realize that and change it up.

I also don't really understand what's the soundtrack supposed to be. If they were going for a live feel, why not just take the movie's mixes? Why go for different ones? Isn't that setting yourself up for customer disappointment?

Anyway, the song is killer. Just could've been better in terms of production, 100% agreed. I'm sure the moneybank behind Gaga meddled and made it sound more radio friendly and thus dull and lifeless in terms of musical sound (where the **** are the guitars and the drums, I can barely hear them). A shame. Still excited for everything related to ASIB though.

Edit: When I say I don't hear the guitars and drums I don't mean that the whole song should be guitars and drums, I mean that they are pushed back significantly in the mix and made to sound... well, shallow.

I agree the mixing is awful. I can barely hear the drums and the vocals have this terrible metallic sound (autotune + reverb), I don't know, I feel like they uploaded the wrong audio file.

same vocals, crowd noise edited out.

True but with the amount of vocal echo (and other effects) and choice of mix it really does sound like a totally different version. It's like all the warmth was sucked out of it. I had to triple check to make sure the version was the same because I just didn't believe it.

I'm almost like: why do the effort at all? Just release the movie versions with improved mixing (louder voices, basically) for listening purposes and then just put finished crowdless studio versions on the second half to generate more interest in the soundtrack. This compromise of using live versions but editing the hell out of them is really odd.

Well, that's the difference between fans and slaves, people :interestinga:

Some people care more about quality than Gaga's stereotpyical success. I may be cast as a more "negative" role on this forum but on the other hand I can't believe my eyes when all I see "fans" discuss about this movie is if it's gonna make Gaga win an Oscar. Guess what, Gaga thinks you're an idiot too if you really care about that. She wants us to talk about the movie, the story, its meaning, and she wants us to talk about music, film, art, etc.

This is a forum. Per definition it gathers fans from different backgrounds and with different motivations and if you can't handle that then just go away yourself and create a totalitarian forum regime somewhere else where you can throw people out based on rules that are as unnecessarily dramatic as they are genuinely troubling: if we can't even handle different opinions online in a digital world where we get to deal with millions of individuals then the world is really going crazy.

Thanks for posting. I think this is a good example of what fans were (rightly) expecting from the release. I also think it exemplifies perfectly the difference in vocal mix a lot of fans are noticing by putting the vocal tracks right next to each other (compare 1:13 to 1:25 to what comes after). Notice how it goes from warm and introspective to sharp and cold (not Gaga criticism, Bradley's voice sounds the same in the final mix).

You notice it perfectly in how this remix blends the album version into the trailer version (1:03 to 1:14). Notice how the instruments come to the front of your ears and sound louder, warmer and more effective? Notice how Gaga's voice also becomes warmer and more pleasant on the ears by taking center stage between the instruments instead of hovering above them like in the final mix?

Could someone here be super amazing and simply put the chorus on the movie trailer on top of the second chorus of the album song? I actually like the album version; it’s simply missing that strong and powerful second chorus. :) Thank you in advance!!!

I actually think that there isn’t a studio version and that the trailer developers simply mixed the first chorus in the album  version and gave it a sound boost for the trailer to make it sound more powerful.

Okay so, this cult site is divided at the moment, it seems no body is allowed to express an actual opinion other than "OMGGG YASSS", this is very unfair.

I always support Gaga, but I don't like the song. This is ALLOWED! In my opinion the song doesn't sound right, it doesn't mesh together, I'm not keen on the mixing and live drowned out vocals, to me it sounds like they've put 2 songs together.

Does anyone know if the soundtrack music will be this way? If so I might just wait to listen on YT and not buy it. I was expecting studio versions of the songs, again, this is ALLOWED.

Enjoy the music if you think it's good but just remember not everyone has to like it.

Ok so you are allowed to have an option and say you don't like the song, i get what you mean with the mixing but why would you base this on if your going to buy the whole soundtrack.

Have you seen the movie because if you haven't this song is going to be the last of your worries.
