LIVE vs Studio version

Okay so, this cult site is divided at the moment, it seems no body is allowed to express an actual opinion other than "OMGGG YASSS", this is very unfair.

I always support Gaga, but I don't like the song. This is ALLOWED! In my opinion the song doesn't sound right, it doesn't mesh together, I'm not keen on the mixing and live drowned out vocals, to me it sounds like they've put 2 songs together.

Does anyone know if the soundtrack music will be this way? If so I might just wait to listen on YT and not buy it. I was expecting studio versions of the songs, again, this is ALLOWED.

Enjoy the music if you think it's good but just remember not everyone has to like it.

This IS the version on the soundtrack. We will have to deal with it.

Just like Mary Jane Holland is the studio version, despite having live Applause on it. Not sure how this is still not understood lol

I’m a little confused... was the one used in the trailer the live version?

Trailer sounded much more like an acutal studio recording, in the "Finding Allys voice" it sounds just like recorded on stage and live vocals and now we got something in between?

I am confusion.

The one in the trailer was most likely the same version. They often alter things in music to flow better with a trailer. Simply because something in the trailer (any trailer tbh) sounds one way, in no way indicates that it’s a different recorded version all together.

Not everyone knows that tho so idk!

He didn’t produce it, only co-wrote it

Who did then? Whoever produced it ruined it basically...

The production is just so messy, even though the song itself is good.

The crowd on MJH and Applause fit the song though. This is like if Million Reasons or The Edge of Glory had random cheering on their album versions.

IDK it just annoys me.

Totally agree, the song is good but I'm disappointed.

Personally, I really like her vocals in the trailer, but I’m not as much of a fan of this version released as a single. I thought her vocals sounded more raw in the trailer.

Maybe it is the same, and I’m just going crazy :ladyhaha:
