Gaga seems not authentic or natural in interviews at all...

Wait Gaga is an INFJ?

I have strongly suspected so for a while now. Her continued behavior, such as in these interviews, only reinforces my belief.

Ok but if you look back at previous eras, she's always been repetitive with interviews, which may come across as "robotic". She has a few statements she always sticks to and repeats as to give everyone her clear message and vision.

"I wrote about my monsters, my fear of sex monster, my fear of love monster"

"I felt disenfranchised by society"

"I group up in an Italian family"

"I'm putting art on the soup can in a reverse Warholian experience"

"My late aunt died of Lupus her name was Joanne I am my fathers daughter"

"I stopped dead and said BRADLEY YOU CAN SING"

So tbh, this is just another era of her being open to her fans, and rehearsed for the press. Nothing has changed except she's aged, and learned how to handle herself, and do what's best for her life, while maintaining career.

You have all good points, I agree.

I also wasn't "judging" or anything, I just noticed/felt that way. She's a human being and it is 100% relatable.

you can't expect her to change her interview answers or not be repetitive... these interviews are targeted at the demographics of the people that watch these shows, not stans that watch every interview.

LM's also tend to believe that her early pop period is "authentic" whereas everything in the last 5 years is her trying to be something besides "herself" to appeal to various GP.... but if anything those early years were more of a "character" than the later.

I actually don't see that much different between Gaga now and previous interviews, to me she seems more natural and down to earth and not trying to be "performance-art-Ga" during the interview process.

Yeah, no. I don’t think so at all. She was much more natural earlier on in her career. She was funny and she made fun of the artifice inherent in interviews like this. I understand why she’s more rehearsed now, but the idea that she was performing as a character early on in her career and that “Lady Gaga” wasn’t really who she was contradicts everything that she’s said throughout her entire career and is more than a little insulting, honestly. :icega: :messga:

Well there's an obvious reason behind repetitive answers. Even more if she's doing press for an upcoming project! I don't care about that since it's just a platform she can leverage to spread a message and that's what she does.

Now, what REALLY makes me feel weird is her Joanne expressions (the frowning, the hand gestures emphasizing points like when she said Madonna and she are very different) and her laugh which suddenly sounds really fake. It just makes me wonder if she's just playing the Joanne persona still (which is what maybe looks cringey to me, but that's personal taste), or this is how she really acts and just naturally changed.

This doesn't go to say anything against her attitude though. Above all she's an artist and I don't expect less than to be confused by her. It's just a matter of me feeling lost lmao. Maybe that feeling is what makes us doubt about what she really tries to give to the world sometimes. For example, how vocal she was about mental health and her activism in the past and nowadays it seems more like a naive message about being kind. The message is great but I'm sure people that are not LMs just listen to that and smile at another celebrity playing the shallow kindness and "let's all love each other" card

I've been thinking that with all of the ASIB interviews and it's kind of off-putting, but it doesn't change my love for Gaga or my excitement to see the movie. It just upsets me that she is trying so hard to be taken as a serious actress.

I really think she's trying to distance herself from the fame and intense fan relationship that she had before

which is understandable because she's probably felt hurt through that many times

It's sad but i totally see where you're coming from :/
