I agree. I’ve noticed it too. I didn’t want to her to really immerse herself in this Hollywood culture, but it was inevitable. I’m sure it’s because she wants people to take her seriously as an actress, but I hope it’s not at the expense of her authenticity.

I've noticed this too, but like others were saying, it's probably easier for her to know how to answer the same question the same way whenever she gets asked to actually answer the question without rambling. 

I also have a theory that once she moved out to Cali her tone completely shifted to more laid back, relaxed and chill vibes (not a bad thing, but that's when I noticed the switch)

I haven't watched this interview yet, but already prepping myself for " There's 100 people in a room and all you need is 1 person who believes in you & that was Bradley" and/or the spaghetti and meatball leftovers story

She has PTSD and anxiety, she gets the same question 100 times, and it's awkward as hell to seem authentic during an interview that is SO staged. Not to mention how weird it feels to just talk about yourself and promote something instead of just have a normal conversation with someone. They set up the anecdotes and stories beforehand. Everything is a production made to seem real and it's not. That's why aubree plaza is always so awkward. She's talked about it before.

What do you expect? It's media interviews, being authentic/natural or not is not the point, she has to talk about a product, be it movie, album or tour. It's just marketing, it's a job.

you can't expect her to change her interview answers or not be repetitive... these interviews are targeted at the demographics of the people that watch these shows, not stans that watch every interview.    

LM's also tend to believe that her early pop period is "authentic" whereas everything in the last 5 years is her trying to be something besides "herself" to appeal to various GP.... but if anything those early years were more of a "character" than the later.

I actually don't see that much different between Gaga now and previous interviews, to me she seems more natural and down to earth and not trying to be "performance-art-Ga" during the interview process.

She's also very gracious and humble. I don't see how that could come off as "inauthentic" 

This.... If anything, she has seemed less guarded and more open in recent interviews. She's laughing with more ease and seems to have more a sense of humor about herself.

I think it's mostly about feeling insecure. But i also think she has became a person which likes a serious talk. I don't think this is the kind of show for her to do good promo, cause if she goes to Alan Carr or some chill show she can use silly accent, talk about her wigs, that kind of stuff.

She clearly is trying to sell herself as Lady now. She wants to make sure she pays respect to Bradley. aghh she's just to self conscious.

Even the game, she's not truly there, but she ended being funny.

I think we just need to wait. She probably knows Ellen is an important show to get a wide GP appeal. The thing is i think Gaga should just give up on GP appeal, cause she's not for everyone, girl has to accept it and do what really gives her pleasure and makes her feeling comfortable. But girl also wants to slay at charts and feel like she did the best. Gagz.. you're a hard cookie, need to be easier on yourself

I don't really want to know her personally 'cause I see the artist first of all. She changed too much in a short time. I don't know why she acts like everything's fine or she have these expressions with calculated answers, I mean... she looks different in her face and most parts like her lips and eyes etc. are not things that are changing in time until your 40's-50's, in late 20's the only thing is starting to change is your skin. I don't know if I'm fan of this change, from the Gaga that Born This Way to the Gaga that we know a few years now, I'm not sure that I can identify anymore, it feels strange to me. But if she feels better with herself on how she look now, that's fine.

Right? lol we keep hearing the same stories and lingo, but those are just promotional buzz catch phrases.  For every 10 times we hear her say 'bradley wiped the makeup off my face' the GP hears it once lol
