do you think they had huge pre orders like 10k maybe? If we remain stable and they fall it will be close...

also Amazon music sales missing Gaga is 1 so maybe a few hundred copies more...

Nah I don’t think their fanbase is that big over here, I wouldn’t like to guess what their preorder numbers were but I imagine that’s what gave them the edge for the midweeks

According to OCC (UK equivalent of Billboard) TOP are winning in streaming and physicals but ASIB is winning in digital downloads. I guess the question would be whether ASIB can significantly overtake with physicals.

Are there are also problems with undershipment in the UK?

Mmh if we fail this week, do we have any chance to reach #1 in the UK next week?

I think the only “major” release next week is Ella Mai so yes

Not as far as I’m aware. I bought digitally and ordered a vinyl on Saturday

Of course, The greatest showman was number one for something ridiculous like 16 weeks because of the film, it might not hit #1 this week but it could hit #1 at any quiet week in the future

Shallows streaming being cut in the UK is hurting the album but isnt it funny that the rules like this that we supported are now hurting us? Guess it comes with a downside that Gaga is a streaming artist now :gaycat:

Hard to tell. Shallow is way ahead of any song from Trench (highest was 72 on yesterdays update) but I think Trench is higher than ASIB on AM? So I guess ASIB could possibly overtake by the end of the week but it’s hard to tell what the gap is there.

Trench and ASIB keep flip flopping between 5&6 on AM, so it must be close
