I really wonder what's the matter with labels sometimes. Aren't they supposed to be pros and know the business?

They released In My Blood in march 2018, it failed to reach top 10 in the US (peaked at 11), but still, it got 110m radio audience impressions, broke a record on adult pop radioΒ and to this day hasΒ 268m + spotify streams.

Then, during March, April,Β May, June, July and August,Β Shawn performs at like 4-5 live music awards show and still performs In My Blood even though the single peaked (performances are ok in March and April, but he still performed IMB at the VMAs in august when it was clearly done weeeeeeeeks ago.)

Between IMB release and today, we get promo singles Youth (which was performed at awards show but never sent to radios), Nervous (which got a video, but never was a real single), Lost In Japan, Where Were You In The Morning. 4 promo singles :deadbanana:

Now, they decideΒ to release Lost In Japan as a single with an atrocious Zedd Remix, probably so it outdoes In My Blood. But how is that logic even ? :air:Β You release IMB in March, then the day after you release Lost In Japan as promo singleΒ and you decide to release that song as an official secondΒ single inΒ September, when the lead singleΒ was released in March? what the heck.

Β

We think Gaga's management can be messy, but this is something else :air:Β

IΒ really hope they get their sh*t together and push Fallin' All In You after Lost in Japan flops because of the label's bad decisions.

Is That Alright? already sounds like a bigger hit than Shallow

that's why Shallow is a cute promo single to promote the soundtrack on digital platforms. Is That Alright? will sell the album, conquer radios and the Hot 100

Silvestro Devacelli

Taki Taki debuted at #6 on The Global Spotify chart with 4 million streams and shallow got 2 million streams but it hasn’t debuted on the chart, why ?

It's so warm and fuzzy, and sad at the same time

I think INLA and Shallow/ITA, depending on which one performs better commercially
