Also, on a more "commercial" note, this sounds just like something that'd play on the radio! This is a character and she really loves to get into characters and things like that. To dress up. I think Joanne was a challenge for her to be āauthenticā so to speak, but this soundtrack seems to have come a lot more easily to her and I think a big part of that is the pressure being off to āshow her painā.
