DISCLAIMER: I am not angry with either side for their choice to not release this, so please don't think that I am being mean.

In July of 2012, Lady Gaga revealed that she was working with Kendrick Lamar in the studio. Then later that month or in August of 2012, Lady Gaga revealed that one song, "PARTYNAUSEOUS", would be released as the lead single off of Kendrick Lamar's album Good Kid, M.A.A.D City. The single would have been released on September 6th, the same day as the VMA's, with Tara Savelo even saying that it would take attention away from the VMA's.

Here is the track (It should be noted that this leaked in 2015, meaning that it is not in high quality, and it might not be the final version. Also, it is not the ArtRave version.):

I thought PARTYNAUSEOUS was their (scrapped) collab for *her* album (ARTPOP) and Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe was their (scrapped) collaboration for his (Good Kid)?

Anyway, I don't know if it would have been a hit... She was already kinda struggling on the Hot 100 and he hadn't yet become the chart record-breaker he is now, so it could have gone either way.

Regardless, I wish they'd officially released something together before he blew up and blew his pop crossover wad on tripe like Bad Blood, but whatever.

I think that it has been theorized that PARTYNAUSEOUS may have been rewritten as a solo recording for ARTPOP after all of this happened.

Apparently Gaga and Kendrick did three songs together. Both Partynauseous and Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe were intended for his album while a third unnamed collab was for ARTPOP. Obviously none of them came to fruition and reached final release

Huh. Weird. Maybe I am misremembering it then, but I'd always thought they'd done the two songs together, one for each of their albums, and BDKMV was definitely for his.

I see. Thanks.

If that's the case, I am not surprised this didn't make it onto Good Kid. It would not have fit *at all*.

I think she began writing PARTYNAUSEOUS before she met Kendrick but reworked it for him.

However she despised what his producers were doing to her voice so she took her talents elsewhere. But both songs were for Kendrick.
