its ok sis, Taylor has plenty of hits. Her next era will be big(maybe as big as red or bigger than 1989), Taylor knows what she's doing, our pop girlie is a marketing genius :vegas:

i'm glad she released LWYMMD as the lead, she wanted to make a statement with that single and video.

I feel like "You say I did something bad then why it feels so good, I'd do it again if I could" & "they're burning all the witches even if they're not one, so light me up" are better statements then "got a list of names and yours is in red underlined" and "ooh look what you made me do". The line LWYMMD is literally the opposite of owning up to your ****, so I actually don't think it was a smart choice.

LWYMMD has like two references about Kanye, it was perfect because she addressed the Kanye drama. IDSB doesn't really have Kanye references.

This is why we can't have nice things was a good choice a for a lead too but LWYMMD's lyrics were more ''subtle''

I think she made the perfect choice. Her next will be bigger, just wait for it!

Kanye wanted to make her look like the bad guy + LWYMMD is a satirical song just like blank space, she's literally making fun of everyone.

Look isn't half as good as Blank Space

The song's a mess, besides the references, not even the message is really clear.

Also the bridge of IDSB has a Kanye/Kim reference with the receipts thing,  and I'm pretty sure she's calling Kanye a narcisist in it, not to mention it's a much better song.

I didn't say LWYMMD was better than BS, I said that both songs are satirical.

IDSB is better but I still think that LWYMMD was the perfect lead for the era

I mean I understand that its message is part of the era, but it could have been just a promo single or a companion track to the lead, kind of like Ed Sheeran had a double single release.

I Did Something bad was such a waste of a lead single

Call it What You Want should've replaced End Game.

Aside from LWYMMD, the visuals of this era was pretty lackluster

In my opinion I think that Taylor took the route of “letting the music speak for itself”. No wonder she even included “there will be no further explanation, there will be just reputation” in the rep prologue. The singles were messy yes, but in the end she put out a great pop album that is great as a whole, not because of it’s singles. And also I think that it was a good idea she didn’t do promo, because the media would have twisted it as her being vengeful etc. etc.

IDSB really should’ve been a single tho, it’s kinda like her Scheiße.

LWYMMD: 4X platinum US

Gorgeous: gold in the US

RFI: 2x platinum in the US

End Game: 1x Platinum US

Delicate: 1x Platinum US

Call It What You Want: 1x platinum US

The album is certified 3x platinum in the US and has sold 5m copies WW.

Taylor Swift has sold more 15m records with this album with minimal promotion(compared to her other eras).

The era has certifications in Asia, Latin America, Canada, Australia, some countries of Europe and the US.

Exactly, and people are so quick to dismiss it as a “Flop”

It’s true that the singles haven’t been as impactful as her previous campaigns, but the album met expectations. I think Taylor is more of an album and touring artist than a singles artist now, which is better imo.
