I was chatting with the security guard at the entrance because incredibly I had once downloaded remixes of Gaga tunes by his nephew and had them in my archives. Amazingly. What a small world. He was so thrilled that I had saved his nephew's work that when the call for the open doors happened, he didn't think twice about letting me in as the others streamed in. Essentially, he allowed me in early. I ended up dead center stage, though a member or two of LARR deeply wanted my spot. For once, I felt I'd earned it (not to be mean to LARR) but because I've busted ass so hard for this site for 7 years at that point and it was Fate and meant to be. She was 18 inches from my face the whole night. When she crowdsurfed, I held her up where I could and caught her head when she failed in that last surf.
