4. Impact =/= Money.

 

Being in bad movies that are talked about doesn’t ruin an actress’s career, being in forgettable movies makes it fade away. 

If you think I’m biased towards DCEU, god look at yourself, you probably don’t know anything about comics, therefore the potential characters Gaga could play.

Which untaken character owned by MCU can do Gaga justice? Maybe someone coming from Fox, but again I’ve said I’d be fine with thay. Maybe She-Hulk, but that’d alter her whole look as she doesn’t change like Hulk.

Meanwhile DC has

She could play in Birds Of Prey: Black Canary, Huntress, Poison Ivy, Catwoman 

She could play in Wonder Woman 3: Circe, Giganta, Veronica Cale, any of the Greek goddesses like Athena/Demether/Hestia/Artemis

She could play in Batman/Nightwing: Catwoman (Again), Batwoman, Lady Shiva

 

The tea is DC right now is empty and full of badass untaken characters Gaga can be the first to bring life to. MCU, well, they can only offer her roles not big enough to make it to the first 20 films

Oh please, impact = money. This is Hollywood. A big business. That is the point. The more gross you get for a movie, while still entertain and giving up some moral values if any, is the better. It shows the interest of the public. Especially since going to movie theatre ain't cheap for majority of people. So when people decides to throw money at your movie, even for more than one time, it means they really get entertained by it.

I really think Wonder Woman had more impact than movies like Skyfall, Pirates of Carribean, Fast & Furious 7 etc

I believe actors/actresses are only as good as the production/directing allows them. There have been so many cases of A-list actors falling flat on a dumb script.

Even if the DC movies are not good, can you imagine Gaga in the same situation as MARGOT ROBBIE for Suicide Squad? The movie was panned but Robbie's performance was highly acclaimed and earned her a lot of recognition, both from critics and the audience. For those who claim Gaga is so good, realise that an amazing performance can be incredibly successful even in a bad movie.

This. American Horror Story: Hotel is one of the most disliked seasons of the show by critics and by the public alike. But the role fit Gaga so well she won a Golden Globe for it.

I just don’t see a good-enough role in MCU left for Gaga. In DC however she’d rock a character like Poison Ivy. Poison Ivy has a huge fanbase too, I know because they’re on twitter under the hashtag #PoisonIvyLeague.

I mean that is your opinion and I respect that.

The thing is, you need to understand what movie industries based off of, and why first weekend gross are important coverage every week.

Movie productions only gonna greenlight films that surely give them back money. That is why getting rated high on first weekend is important, and as for films led by miniorities are even important. Such as Get Out or this year, Crazy Rich Asians. It shows the executives that there are considerable interest from these groups as well, so next time someone would make another movie with all minorities casts, it will be easier to green light.

So, impact is not always as snobby things you think it is.

Yes but if you see closely these 3 names balanced their acting career between award bait films and block buster films. I think that is the best way for any actors and actresses to go on long time in this business tbh

so far DCEU has been a trainwreck except for Wonder Woman so it would be better for Gaga to stay away from it. 

my ultimate dream come true superhero role for Gaga would be Dazzler from X-Men (a disco singing mutant with the ability to convert sound into light and energy beams of various forms and intensity), and I think I've said it too many times

I mean she is a real life Dazzler already, just look

and since Marvel bought the X-Men rights back from Fox and will definitely be rebooting X-Men films in near future I would LOVE to see Gaga take on a role of Dazzler. plus mutans have always been a metaphor for LGBTQ in comic books, so this is a match made in heaven and it has to happen!
