So I guess you feel Cooper's lack of directing experience?

Well, I'm absolutely not a cinema expert. But, imho, there are some problems regarding the paces and the fact that some scenes feel too slow. So, yeah, I think it's because of Bradley's lack of experience, but it could also pretty well be just an artistic decision - since it's just a couple of scenes, the rest of the movie is pretty flawless from this pow. So, yeah, idk really

I'd need to watch it another time to get if they're flaws or just fit the movie, after just one time I can say that you feel the movie "slowing down" a bit, that's all

Has anyone ever done that?

yes, it happens every now and then.... Gabourey Sidibe for Precious, Diana Ross for Lady Sings The Blues, Liza Minelli for The Sterile Cuckoo (her second movie, first big role), Barbra Streisand won for her first movie role in Funny Girl.... and it happens more often in the supporting category.

I see, thanks! I will certainly notice that because it's so easy to bore me in long scenes lol (even in Infinity War I got bored in one scene lol)

So it's like in Sense8 that there are a few long scene that gets boring at some point.. I guess it's half artistic choice and half lack of experience..

So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

I didn't watch neither of the two things you wrote lol :laughga:

But yeah you can't really get bored because in those long scenes there's our gurl so just stare at her :sara:

I haven't seen the movie but with Bradley I reckon it's definitely artistic choice. My background involved film editing and I remember it being hard to let go of certain shots especially because you can get really attached, even though you know from a viewer's point of view it might not be super engaging. But you keep the scene in regardless

Yeah right, it feels slow in some points. There are some scenes which are way too long, other are way too short. But that just happens in a bunch of scenes, nothing major. The movie is GREAT

One of the teasers felt really slow for me... I think it was the "one reason" one
