Is 'Shallow' radio-friendly?

Do you think 'Shallow' is enough radio-friendly to push it as the promo song after ASIB premiere?

We can base it on the snippets only but many people who saw the movie say it should be the first single and then Always Remember Us This Way.

I'm fvckin living for Shallow vocals and the power of it but can't imagine to hear it in the radio tbh

What is your opinion?

The version in the movie was raw 'cause it was all live recorded, but I'm confident that the studio version will have more radio appeal (I hope so)

omg i just listened to the snippet with the extended chorus and the 'it's a shallow, shallow, shallow' part left me shook.

It sounds even better with Bradley in it.

The little part from the trailer is a studio version or it's the movie version?

Also half of this cult site thinks Diamond Heart is radio friendly so....:huntyga:

It's one of those songs that 100% could go either way, if people took well to it, it would become a classic because you don't get many songs like it on the radio in the current pop climate and it's catchy, but it could have easily gone down badly. I'll always stand by my guns and say Joanne should have had a double lead with A-Yo and Diamond Heart ala Shape Of You/Castle On The Hill, with the focus on A-Yo, whilst allowing Diamond Heat to either slowly rise or just gain a nice little amount of appreciation from people who otherwise wouldn't have heard it

I think it's too raw and powerful to be on the radio. But still, it's such an amazing song

If Gaga wasn't screaming or projecting her voice too much on it, I'd agree, but it's kinda more of a rock indie sounding song I think. And personally I feel that if A-Yo only peaked at #66, Diamond Heart would've barely touched the top 90 as a single
