Congratulations to her. She deserves it. She really is a force to reckon with in the industry.

And she is still a good person.

Honestly, it feels so vindicative for us who have believed in her since end of BTW til now. I just feel so proud of her. I was crying while I was walking to work. I can't believe the praise she is getting. Though I saw some somewhat negative reviews about her acting but I love that she is enjoying the moment.

On a side note, I know this is Gagadaily but can we give Bradley his moment too? It's his directorial debut! It's not easy to direct let alone act while directing. It's probably an incredible feeling for him but he graciously let Gaga have that moment.

I was just thinking this! I’ve read all the reviews in depth and his work is impressive and not pretentious as most first time directors are. Passion projects often are thought of as “vanity” projects but I do feel Bradley genuinely wanted to tell this story and clearly worked hard on it, I’m so proud!

Also, agreed on your last point. He definitely let her shine last night even though it’s the world premiere! But I think as a partnership they are so equal - she always lets him shine in interviews. You can say co-stars suck up to each other for PR but I really FEEL their bond?! They never run out of praise for each other and I envision them eating pasta together and just being cute and it’s so beautiful to watch and I swear Ally & Jackson are going to end me!!

Great that I'm not the only one who felt this. I mean, directorial debuts are probably one of the things that may break someone's directing career. Ryan Gosling's directorial debut film was critically panned and the film end up not showing on theaters. I was so scared of this similar scenario for Bradley because then it means Gaga's acting career may not take off or would be much harder to take off. So I'm so relieved when I saw the amount of hype and praise it got even though critics have voiced that it's not a perfect film. So let's give Bradley some props, shall we?
