Some people here are as selfish as it gets.

You think because Lana Del Rey cancels her show the government will get alarmed and do everything for her to come and do her show?

You think if every US based musician cancelled every show they had they’d care?

The answer is no, I live in Turkey and I can tell, and I respect that you can’t see that if you live in the US as the politics and the media are heavily connected there but in countries like this, they aren’t.

So, it’s utterly disgusting and disrespectful to the fans that some people made a major pop star from the US cancel her concert.

WP me, drag me, I don’t care. If you think fans should be punished because of the government, you are wrong. And if that were to be done with every bad government, US would be one of the first in the line (along with my own country).

She said she's postponing, not cancelling

She canceled this specific show

I don’t see why it’s such a big deal? Lol

Changed it to “postpones” because cancelling means she won’t be coming back, whereas postponing means that yes the original date’s been cancelled but that she’ll be back which is an important addition :omg: Hope that’s alright

should the Israeli people be hostages and suffer the consequences of a few politicians ?

You mean like Palestinian people already are for the last 70 years? No, they’re far worse, hostages under military occupation on their own land. And their cultural center was just recently bombed to the ground, so she wouldn’t have where to perform and Israel wouldn’t even let her in. Is that justice?

She made the right decision finally. Proud of her. 👏

I don’t see you dragging Russia. But here we are. Wondering why that is.
