to reach 91% it now needs to get to 432 reviews without a rotten one, so 19 more to go...

it was struggling to stay above 89.5 two weeks ago but lately it's been rising up to 90.3 so at this point it's pretty much certain it's settled at 90%+ forever.

considering the obvious reasons behind Black Panther's acclaim and the tendency most negative ASIB reviews to stay focused on the fact it's a remake that didn't change the course of history, its score is truly the most impressive ever at this many reviews.

ASIB was never meant to be groundbreaking and it might not be perfectly put together but it rings true in a way few film works do and almost everyone that will ever see it will be left with that feeling regardless of expectations not met or prejudice against the project and its cast. critical acclaim sure feels nice but we shouldn't worry about it and the approaching awards season much. as corny as it sounds, Ally and Jackson already won a place in many people's hearts and that's what matters most in pop culture. a star was born. pop hearts were won. :koons:

Sugar, spice, and everything nice.
