Even changing a note or a chord lands you writing credits so I wouldn't stress about it too much. Gaga is always on the 1st/2nd place which is important

Too many people here with moral superiority complex.

Girls, none of these songs are Joanne outtakes. I think a lot of people are underestimating how important this project is. If anything, Joanne songs were ASIB outtakes :rip:

I know that this has been discussed before, but the meta-aspect of the film could do wonders for them if they decide to release a single.

Like, if they wanted to release a more palatable, “generic” pop song that the public would eat up, they could. And if it gets really successful, and people claim it’s generic, then they can always say “oh but that’s how it is in the movie and it’s about the industry lmao”.

lordt...

3 points in and ready for more

I don't know how I feel about this actually.

First off feels like way too much music for a film. :rip:

Second of too many different styles:saladga:

But you haven't heard any of the songs lol? Plus it seems to me like there'll only really be 2/3 distinct styles - the folky/indie acoustic sounds heard in the trailer, the soft pop when she becomes a star, plus the jazzy/burlesque ones from when she's in the drag clubs.

This soundtrack will be so diverse and I am living for it!! :tony::worship2:

The first part of the soundtrack serving raw vocals in country/rock/folk style......

giphy.gif?format=1500w

The second half serving dance pop songs you can bop to.....

Sexy-Rihanna-Music-Video-GIFs.gif

And also heart-wrenching ballads, especially the one in the end.....

lmao have u ever seen the credits for a JB album?? or Britney?? or JLO????

On the contrary I thought that they kept a little team for those songs and it's pretty cool. Might be consistent and bops, cant wait !

S0436

Surprised Mark Ronson didn’t produce Shallow...no tea no shade.

I wouldn’t rule out the Diane Warren track being the Oscar nominee, despite not being the finale track.

I wonder if this should be renamed LG6 lol
