He seems mature and utterly in love with her, it looks like he treats her well. So to those of you who asserted that point - thank you. I find it so endearing how the monsters feel so damn protective toward their mother. I admit I have not had an obsession like this since I was 12. Is this urge to defend and protect typical? (I am being 100% serious.) Also....FWIW, my mind was changed when I read CC's IG.
