All the people on this thread that are bashing Joanne didn’t really need pay attention during FF2 did they? Watching the documentary a second time made me love Joanne even more and allowed me to truly understand the meaning behind it

I think what Donatella was trying to say is that Madonna and Gaga are incomparable since they are very different artists. or am I being delulu because of my love for Versace? :koons:

Who stepped on my taco?

You're right. And they both are even friends, aren't they?

She didn't lie tho. Even Gaga said couples of times or so already that she is not Madonna. And does not appreciate or like the comparison that much.

"I don't need to take anybody's torch. I have no interest in taking anybody's torch. I am over here and they are over there and if you feel connected to it, the door is open for you to come in and enjoy this with us. But this need for competition was everything that 'Born This Way' isn't about!" - Attitude Magazine, 2013

"Madonna and I are very different. Just saying. We're very different. I wouldn't make that comparison at all and I don't mean to disrespect Madonna, she's a nice lady, and she's had a fantastic huge career, biggest pop star of all time, but I play a lot of instruments. I write all my own music. I spend hours and hours a day in the studio. I'm a producer. I'm a writer. What I do is different. Not just rehearsing over and over again to put on a show. There is spontaneity to my work, I allow myself to fail. I allow myself to break. I'm not afraid of my flaws. I just will not be compared to anyone anymore, I am who the f**k I am and this is me. My life story is my life story, just like yours is. The thing is we all express things in different ways, but my rebellion at my father for him being angry with me, that has ended. It's like finally I can bite back." - Radio 1, Zane Lowe interview, 2016
